Most of you know we moved from Houston, Texas to Argentina in 2015, and we landed in Mendoza, a singular, beautiful city of around a million people located in the western part of the country, just east of the Andes. We bought a house several years ago, adopted a street dog (Thena) to keep Roger company, began making our own wine, received citizenship complete with the right to vote, and we continue to work hard at mastering the Spanish language.

We decided to create this blog because, FINALLY, in November 2023 we took a road trip south, a month-long adventure through Patagonia, which inspired a lot of posts detailing the trip. And since then, we decided that going forward we will record more adventures and highlights of our South American life here, too. We hope you enjoy!
